As an Occupational Therapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) for over 20 years, Lindsey trained in acupuncture with the internationally renowned British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS). As an accredited member, she has also undertaken supplementary training in Cancer and Palliative Care as well as Electroacupunture.
All members are subject to the Society's Code of Practice and Complaints Procedure in addition to statutory regulation within their primary profession.
Lindsey has also undertaken post graduate training with the British Association of Hand Therapists (BAHT), The Academy of Clinical Aromatherapy and Massage (Scotland) and is also a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR).
An injury that was persistent following months of conventional treatment, acupuncture was the final piece in Lindsey’s treatment ‘tool box’ that brought permanent relief, both physically and psychologically.
Inspired and encouraged by her acupuncturist as well as experiencing the power of acupuncture first hand, Lindsey decided to train in medical acupuncture with the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS). She knew integrating this treatment with her varied skills as an occupational therapist would help others.
With over two decades of NHS and private practice experience, Lindsey now blends clinical knowledge, therapeutic expertise and acupuncture to provide personalised treatment to each person.
